PIONEER AVIC-F90BT: a state of the art navigation system

The Pioneer Avic-F90BT is a navigation device and not just another GPS device. The system can be fitted into you vehicle’s dashboard and offers a wide array of features. It comes with 800x 480 pixel display which gives sharper and well defined images. The system comes with a GUI (Graphic User Interface) making the control effortless. The Tele Atlas Database which used to be in two –DVD set previously are now compressed down into an internal Flash memory for you convenience.  It also offers a new voice recognition capability for controlling your iPod playback and using hands free option to make calls via Bluetooth connection.

This technology is capable of accepting conversational style of speaking and can understand different languages. It also asks the user some additional questions if the user fails to give it enough information. It has a built- in Bluetooth. The new Pioneer Avic –F90BT comes with a Built- in MSN Direct tuner to help you an update on road conditions, search a gas station, traffic situation, and movie times and get all the directions without requiring you to leave the car. It also includes a three day weather forecast facility to better plan your schedule in advance.

This feature gives you a different way of traveling without giving you traffic jam hassles, providing you less inconvenience in case of last minute change of plans and also gives you the information about the cheapest nearby gas stations. The menus are simplified and icons are placed to give you a quick glance and efficiency to start using the facilities. You can quickly enter you destination, enhance the maps with 3D Landmarks and browse your music library. Among its advanced features are an album art which can be overlaid on your navigation display.

The various media formats included in the system are DVD-R/RW, CD/R/RW, SD cards, USB memory devices and portable Media Player. A wide range of file types can be played on it as well like MP3, WMA, AAC and MPEG-4 videos. Hence entertainment is always a top quality feature in the system.  The Pioneer Avic-F90BT also allows you to personalize your device by way of POI Creator, Picture Editor Application, and Driving Report. The POI will always tell you to take the correct path. For safer parking the system supports a back up camera as it automatically displays pictures taken from this camera to help you while you are reversing the vehicle.
